Wild for Wet n Wild

As I was browsing the beauty isle at Walgreen’s these gorgeous colors caught my eye from wet n wild. These are a limited edition collection and I haven’t noticed them anywhere else.  The colors are bright and perfect for the summer for your fingers and toes! And the names are fantastic. Contact High and Trippin on the Boardwalk really make me chuckle.

What colors are your must haves from the collection? I picked up A Venice Day, Coast to Coast and Trippin on the Boardwalk.

Swatch Saturday: Maybelline Pretty in Peach

Hey Hey it’s Swatch Saturday! Today we have Pretty In Peach from the Maybelline Color Show collection. I believe I snagged this beautiful color from Target for $2.99 It is the most beautiful peachy/coral color. Perfect for Spring and Summer.

Little bottle but packs great color payoff!

The formula is on the thicker side and 2 coats is all you need.

Again the color is gorgeous but I only got 1 day of wear from the polish. Yep 1 day. The one other time I used this color I got 2 days of wear before it starting chipping. I will not buy this color again! I am curious though to see how the formula and wear time is for the other colors in the line.

Overall I give this polish 2 nail tips out of 5.

Swatch Saturday…Ruby Kisses Blue My Mind

Finally the 1st post for the new installment on the blog…Swatch Saturday! Every Saturday I will showcase a nail polish from my current stash. These may be current or older polishes so if you see one you like you can always search the net for availability  if I do not post where it was purchased.

I am going to keep the swatch reviews short and sweet. I will always talk formula, how many coats to opacity, wearability and the big one would I repurchase.

Today we have Blue My Mind from the Ruby Kisses line. I picked this up from my local beauty supply a few weeks back for .99!

The formula was a little watery and I had to apply 3 coats for the opacity that I like. I probably could have gotten away with 1-2 more coats. Not a fan of that.

The color is gorgeous and I was able to get 3 days wear before it started chipping.

Unfortunately I would not purchase this particular color again. I had terrible staining and that was with having applied a base coat.

Overall I give this polish 3 nail tips out of 5.

I Love Trader Joe’s…And It Is Not Because Of The Food

Trader Joe’s home of yummy unique foods, cheap wine and my all time favorite excellent conditioners! Yes conditioners. I will travel a gazillion miles to stock up on some of their private labeled conditioners. One of my favorites is the Nourish Spa Balanced Moisturizing  Conditioner. This stuff is like gold for my strands.

Nourish Spa Conditioner

This conditioner has excellent ingredients and smells so fresh and clean. Literally like you just walked into a spa that is full of relaxing aromatherapy.

A conditioner that has a good slip that enables me to detangle in the shower is one of my top requirements and boy does this product deliver. The consistency is very thick and my hair just loves it. Finger detangling is a breeze and after rinsing my hair feels moisturized and rejuvenated.

If you have a Trader Joe’s in your area I highly recommend you do your hair a favor and pick a few bottles up. The conditioner is under $5 and that is a great deal considering the bottle is 16.9 ounces.
